I’ve been chasing good work for more than 25 years.
Seitz Media Group didn’t start because I suddenly bought a camera, made a logo, and decided to call myself creative.
This has been my world for more than 25 years.
I’m Julie Seitz, a graphic artist, photographer, marketer, designer, problem-solver, and the person behind Seitz Media Group. I’ve spent more than two decades creating things that need to do more than simply look good. They need to get noticed, communicate something, sell something, preserve something, or make somebody stop scrolling long enough to pay attention.
That experience is the foundation of everything I do here.
Graphic Design is where it started.
I’ve worked professionally as a graphic artist for more than 25 years, designing everything from logos and branding to signs, banners, print materials, advertising pieces, race graphics, promotional products, social media content, and plenty of things that don’t fit neatly into a category.
Over the years, I’ve learned there is a big difference between making something pretty and making something work.
Good design needs a reason.
It should guide your eye. It should communicate quickly. It should feel intentional. And whether it’s a business card, a 4-foot sign, a race poster, a social media graphic, or an entire brand, it should look like it belongs to the person or company it represents.
That’s the part I enjoy most: taking a rough idea and turning it into something people can actually see.
Photography has been along for the ride just as long.
I’ve also been a semi-professional photographer for more than 25 years.
Photography has taken me through a lot of different subjects and styles over the years, but motorsports has brought together nearly everything I love about it.
Speed. Emotion. Color. Dirt. Light. Motion. Competition. Split-second moments you don’t get a second chance to capture.
There’s something addictive about standing near a racetrack knowing the scene in front of you is going to exist for a fraction of a second and then disappear.
You either catch it or you don’t.
The moment moves fast.
That’s where CHASE IT. comes from.
It’s more than a tagline. It’s pretty much how I approach the work.
Then there’s marketing.
Design and photography are only part of the equation.
I also bring years of hands-on marketing experience to Seitz Media Group, including branding, social media management, advertising, promotional strategy, content creation, print marketing, web design, and figuring out how all of those pieces should work together instead of fighting for attention.
Because a great photo sitting unnoticed in a folder isn’t marketing.
A beautiful logo with no consistent brand behind it isn’t marketing.
Posting randomly on Facebook three times a month and hoping something magical happens probably isn’t marketing either.
Marketing is understanding who you’re trying to reach, what you want them to notice, and what you want them to do next.
That perspective changes the way I photograph, design, write, and build content.
When I’m creating something for a racer, team, track, business, or organization, I’m not only looking at the individual piece. I’m thinking about how it fits into the bigger picture.
More than motorsports photography.
Motorsports photography is a major part of Seitz Media Group, but it isn’t the whole story.
I work with racers, teams, tracks, businesses, organizations, and individuals who need creative work that feels professional without feeling generic.
That can include:
- Motorsports and event photography
- Digital race images and photo prints
- Race cards, posters, banners, and yard signs
- Graphic design and branding
- Sponsor and promotional materials
- Social media content and management
- Marketing strategy
- Web design
- Custom print projects
- Creative services that don’t fit neatly into one of those boxes
If there’s a creative problem involved, there’s a pretty good chance I’m interested.
I know both sides of the file.
One advantage of spending this long in design, photography, marketing, and print production is that I understand what happens after something leaves the computer screen.
I know why resolution matters.
I know why a logo that looks fine on a phone may fall apart when it becomes a banner.
I know why some colors print beautifully and others stage a small rebellion.
I know that an image intended for Instagram has different needs than one headed for a 36-inch poster.
And I know that the coolest design in the world isn’t very useful if nobody can actually produce it correctly.
That combination of creative and production experience influences everything I make.
Why Seitz Media Group?
Because I don’t want to simply hand you a file.
I want to create something you’re excited to use.
Something that makes your race team look more established.
Something that helps your business look more professional.
Something that captures a night at the track exactly the way you remember it.
Something that makes people stop for a second and look again.
I care about the little details. Probably more than is reasonable.
I’ll notice when something is three pixels off.
I’ll move a headline six times.
I’ll stare at two nearly identical versions and somehow have very strong opinions about both of them.
That’s part of the job.
The other part is knowing when to stop adjusting things and put them out into the world.
Experience Matters. So Does Caring About the Work.
After more than 25 years, I’ve watched design trends come and go, cameras change completely, social media rewrite marketing, websites evolve, print technology improve, and attention spans get approximately four seconds shorter.
The tools keep changing.
The fundamentals don’t.
Create good work.
Know your audience.
Pay attention to the details.
Be dependable.
Keep learning.
And when the opportunity is there, chase it.
That’s Seitz Media Group.
Graphic design. Photography. Marketing. Media.
Built from decades of experience and still driven by the next shot, the next idea, and the next challenge.
